What is Curved Toughened Glass?
Curved Toughened glass is manufactured by slowly heating flat glass up to the softening temperature (around 550ºC) when the glass starts slumping by gravity on the customised mould.

Once the desired geometry has been achieved, the slow cooling of glass starts.
it is a key phase as it determines the visual quality and structural properties of the final product.

Curved Toughened glass has become common in the everyday architecture. Its versatility helps finding the proper answer to architects concepts and design needs, allowing for all sort of shapes (single radius, J-shapes, U-shapes, double curvature, spherical geometries, undulated sections, twisting shapes, etc.) combined with coatings (solar and low-E) and ceramic frits.


Characteristics
1) Thickness: 6-22mm tempered glass
2) Flat tempered glass: The Max Size: 3660*18000mm
3) Bent tempered glass: The Max Size: 3660*16000mm, R=4500mm 
                                           The Min Size: 2200*24400mm. R=900mm
4) Curved glass can be with holes or cutouts/ hinges/ grooves/ notch and processed into tempered laminated glass, tempered insulated glass etc.
5) Considering the characteristics of tempered glass, glass size should be confirmed before making production. Once tempered glass size is confirmed, tempered glass can not be made mechanical treatment any more, and otherwise, it will be broken.
