Curved Toughened Glass- What's it?
Toughened Glass is made by heating annealed glass to approximately 700ºC then cooling the outer surfaces rapidly.
This process makes the glass strong and shock resistant thus more durable.
Curved toughened glass uses this toughening technique though two different horizontal tempering furnaces.
Production tight radius and tangent radius curved glass panels, up to larger size architetural panels in a full range of glass types.
Having both furnaces allows us to provide curved glass solutions for a wide range of applications in architectural, commercial and residential installations.
Curved Toughened glass has become common in the everyday architecture.
Its versatility helps finding the proper answer to architects concepts and design needs, allowing for all sort of shapes (single radius, J-shapes, U-shapes, double curvature, spherical geometries, undulated sections, twisting shapes, etc.) combined with coatings (solar and low-E) and ceramic frits.
Characteristics
1) Thickness: 6-22mm tempered glass
2) Flat tempered glass: The Max Size: 3660*18000mm
3) Bent tempered glass: The Max Size: 3660*16000mm, R=4500mm
The Min Size: 2200*24400mm. R=900mm
4) Curved glass can be with holes or cutouts/ hinges/ grooves/ notch and processed into tempered laminated glass, tempered insulated glass etc.
5) Considering the characteristics of tempered glass, glass size should be confirmed before making production. Once tempered glass size is confirmed, tempered glass can not be made mechanical treatment any more, and otherwise, it will be broken.

A: MOQ is one full 20ft container.

A: Free small size samples available. But if you have special requirements for big size samples, there will be a cost of production.
