Clear Acid Etched Glass

Acid-etched glass is annealed glass that its appearance got permanently changed to a frosted look by professional treating, which makes it smoother than sandblasted glass. The entire glass sheets can be acid-etched or part of it can be treated to add some specific designs.

SGT's clear acid etched glass is an innovative decorative glass product with a smooth, silky surface , it can be used in all areas of the home. It's produced by acid etching to one side of clear glass. it has a distinctive, uniformly smooth and satin-like appearance. As a translucent product, it admits light whilst while still provides obscuration and vision control.

Acid-etching has been taken as a great alternative to sandblasting because the finished surface is smoother and easier to maintain. The glass is also better withstand stress and stay smudge-free longer. Because of its durability, acid etched glass can be cut into any shape or size and then tempered.
